Is there a better way than others to go to a quick disconnect door pin on a full door TJ. I was looking online for maybe an aftermarket pin but haven't seen anything. Was thinking I would just cut the nut off the bottom and tack weld the bolt to the top of the hinge but wanted to know if there was a better solution.

the bolt should be part of the upper hinge. on Mine I left the nut off and then all you have to do is pick up on the door and they come right off

Yeah, just leave the nuts off, and grease the bushings real well. They'll pop off quite easily..

oh BTW do ya'll just pull the fuse out to kill the interrior light or do you have a bypass rigged up for when the doors are off... I pulled the fuse but it kills my trip meter memory whenever the power is off. I don't think it effects anything else

if jeeps are anything like chevys and toyotas (plug right behind the pressure switch...unplug and no buzz/light when doors off) then please sell that jeep and buy something that's already built. You've been doing this long enough to figure this kind of stupid shiat out.
