its a yoke style. ill get a measurement later it has the t4 trans with the 300 case. not sure on the u joint type. Its a standard cj-7 ujoint . Ed, ill try to get some pics up when my camera gets back from the cleaners. Like i said before Ed, i twisted the splines on the slip shaft or i would have made a new one.

Is the slip shaft inbetween the yoke or is it a slip yoke in the back of the transmission???

If it is inbetween the two u-joints, find two pieces of square tubing that will slide inbetween eachother (like a reciever hitch) to the two yokes.

if you want a relpacement look for a front driveshaft from a wagoneer or explorer 4x4 front shaft, yours and those should be 1310. then cut to length... or the square method works great for trail rigs. there are a lot of writeups on the internet on how to do it

With it being a rear shaft, I would only try to use the square for a spare because it will still see plenty of street time I am sure. It would do you good for a trip out to krocks though. If you get some extra lobes, make a spare for the front because it has a slight bend in it which I am sure you have seen when lookin past the shifter.
