    i know a guy who knows a guy that has a 20 or 24 ft goosenect with dovetail and new wood floor for $2400 if anyone is interested. I think it was 20.

    called the guy and he is a trailer dealer and quoted me 1475 with used tires and 40 bux each for new tires and 45 for a spare.
    gonna go and check it out on tuesday. if it is pt wood i will probably get it with a spare. not bad for 1500

    a tip we learned about our trailer:
    when we got our trailer it originally had a wood dovetail. it wasn't PT and rotted in a couple of years from water sitting. where the wood sits at the tail there is usually no way for the water to escape and it sits down there in the angle or channel (however it is built). you can lengthen the life of the wood on the tail by drilling a bunch of 1/4" holes along the bottom.

    i'm looking at one right now that is 6 lug but the guy said they are 3500lb axles does anyone know if they ever made those. it is a couple of years old but i always thought that 6 lug meant 5200lb or 7klb?
