I try to lend my expertise where it is needed. This bunch seems to have the dead hooker thing down pretty good, so winches in toolboxes is just about all I have left.

I would not use the 12k on a multi-mount seeing as how it weighs ~130 lbs by itself.
On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"

winch in the toolbox is a bad idea. you're going to get your jumper cables and dreidel tangled up in it.

i was also thinking about the fact that it would be difficult to water proof the box with a winch protruding thru it so it looks like its back to using a mulitmount

Do you plan on going deep sea diving with it?

Get a small piece of aluminum plate, and cut and bend it to create a rain cap for the winch line slot and silicone between the cap and side of toolbox.

Oh, and what ever Rowdy has done to his trailer, do exactly the opposite and you will be golden. Just ask your brother if you don't believe me.

and I am just bustin' your balls. It's your trailer that you paid your money for, build it how you see fit. Don't let the idiots on here try to steer you away from what you want to do.

i don't know what i want to do other than it needs a winch. i have a reciever and a cradle so i thought i would use those. also if i ever needed it anywhere else i could use the multimount. like i could krebs it out and chain the winch to a tree and use a battery to pull something out. i'm just looking for ideas now before i break out the welder. maybe i should check out that really cool place called pirate and see what those guys do.
