BDR's big darn welding table build

It's about time I got a heavy duty table for welding and cutting...the old black and decker folding table is getting a bit worse for wear. So today I set out to find materials to build one, but stumbled upon this beauty at the surplus steel yard. At 36" x 72" it's about twice as big as I had planned, but I figured for $150 it was a pretty good deal.

    Things I'm looking to add:

    cutting table
    6" Vise
    lower shelf
    clamping rails
    casters?
possibly some other accessory ideas I've come across

I picked up a piece of catwalk grate for the cutting table. I may need to go back and pick up more if I want to use the entire opening in the table.

While at the yard I found a bunch of these progressive cavity pump rotors....not sure what the **** I'm gonna do with it.

sweet table. Someone on pirate I think had put together a plasma table that the siderails just had slots in them, and the bed was made of just 1" x 3/16 strap, and as they started to wear you just popped out the worn ones and dropped new into the slots. But that's probably not as cheap as your scrap bed...
