    opinions/experience with bfg long trails?

They're about $50 cheaper/tire than Michelin LTX's which i have now and like, but if the long trails are decent i'd save about $200+ overall.

What size u-joint would a 77 3/4 ton chevy 4x4 have on the back end? Truck had a np203 and a 14 bolt. Did they all come with 1350 size?

I bet the LTXs would last longer. Those BFGs come stock on F150s and I do not think mine lasted 30k. Their ATs and MTs, I have had much better luck with, but if you do not need that tread, I would stick with the Michelins. Pretty good highway truck tire.

stick with michelins. f150 is lot lighter than your truck so i don't think you will get the miles out of the BFG longtrails. also I think the tread on michelins wear better. I have BFG ATKO on the burb and I'm nearing 47k on them. My next set, if I keep it, will be michelins b/c I think the BFG's don't wear as evenly and seem to cup...even w/ reg rotations.

I called them long trails in the original post, they are actually rugged trails.

I think im gonna go with the BFG's. The weight rating is the same as the ltx's, and reviews say they wear like iron and only problem is they suck in snow/rain, which is the same problem i had with my ltx's.

I had the BFG rugged on the jeep... didn't put enough miles on them to get an opinion... but my dodge came with the BFG and I had them swap for the Mich because my step dad had both sets and said the mich ones lasted a lot longer

bfg's are getting put on right now. Even if i get 10k less miles out of them then the michelins, I saved $250 on the tires. I just couldnt stomach spending a grand+ on tires for a regular old pickup.
