    same as rest, chain or driveshaft comes off and cracks housing/ rock or the planetary comes apart. fixed yoke allows for more driveshaft travel and longer driveshaft to reduce ujoint angles

    picking up a spare D300 and NP241 tomorrow for CHEAP. if y'all come across a NP231 for under $100. let me know. doesn't matter if its broke, just need a good case.

    does a torque spec change if you are using a locknut? Seems like it would, since there's additional friction on the threads

    you refering to nylock nuts or regular prevailing torque nuts? their uses and torques are completly different. torque also varies with coating...

    regular prevailing torque nuts supplied with moog upper ball joints and grade 10.9 bolts with 13mm heads with instructions indicating 50 lb-ft, before which point two of the bolts broke...

    26 ft-lbs is the max for a 8mm 10.9. might want to recheck something.

    we have 27 +/- 3 for M8x1.25 and 28 +/- 3 for M8x1
