What's the best process for peening a weld? Just hitting it with a hammer? And should I get hi-nickel wire?

90% chance its cast steel, weld it like you would any other steel and you will be fine, like creighton said a little preheat wouldnt hurt

I changed the oil in the dodge and need to turn off the oil light. Any of you dodge owners have your owners manual and can check how to turn it off? I forgot.

with my gmc you depress the gas pedal 3 or 5 times with the key in the on position with in 10 seconds or something like that, but i know nothing about the dodges, sorry
