full hi-steer? you mean full hydro? Either way, maybe because the weight difference is minimal, the weight's down low, and failure could have very undesirable results? And rock hits on steering components are inevitable

No not full hydro. I'm talking hi steer where both the draglink and tie rod are both on top of the knuckle. By having them on top op the knuckle especially in a leaf sprung setup the steering is protected pretty good.

Lately my front passenger side brake has been seizing up on the disk making it pull hard to the right and heat up really bad. Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?

What about the dimple die? How thick of plate are they designed to dimple? Does it depend on the size of the press?

yes, replace or rebuild the caliper. Usually not worth rebuilding it.

also while your there check on your pads and rotors. your rotors should be smooth with no lips or grooves.

check the unit bearing if is going out it makes the rotor grind the caliper, if your pads are worn at an angle it is that or the sliders are stuck.

I had the rubber brake line collapse internally on a truck once. It acted like a check valve and would only allow pressure in, and not allow fluid to return, so the caliper just kept getting tighter. It was on a 1998 truck, so really not that old.
