Silverstars = the shiznit. Replaced my low beams friday and now my low beams are brighter than the high beams. Went ahead and bought new high beam bulbs last night. Guess I better go ahead and polish the lenses soon too!srsly. The current, factory bulbs would probably still be going strong when I wreck this truck, but they suck. I'm trying to figure out where the $30 for new, better bulbs is better spent. (hint: it's not on a cutout for my exhaust)
I read somewhere on this here dangol interweb that the ultras are whiter, but not brighter, and they're all over ebay which is suggesting to me that maybe they really aren't as good as the original silverstars, so I was hoping someone would be able to offer a little more insight.
Eek spent $200 on balljoints last night. I told the guy I had called about Moog, knew how much Moog cost, knew how much more that was than their house brand, and that I wanted Moog. He acted like I was crazy, and the other guy behind the counter stopped speaking spanish with a bum who had walked in just long enough to say "oh yea those are the heavy dooooty ones. they are for a 1500 but they are heavy doooty"
