    Trailer Registration Question

Actually this would probably apply to all vehicles. I just got the registration renewal for my old car hauler that I sold to vato loco about a year ago. Obvioulsy, he never transfered the title. Surprise surprise. What do I need to do? Can I just ignore it and not pay? I pretty much have nothing to show that I sold it.

There is a form you can get from whoever (tax office?) that basically says you sold it.

There's a form you fill out available online (VTR-346) that you send in after you sell a vehicle, along with a $5 telling the State you sold the property. They remove your name from the title in their records and temporarily asign it to the new owner. Protects you from stuff like this and makes them money. I've used it every time I've sold a vehicle in Texas so far and no title complaints.
