sweet ass. I'd sell the lexus and DD it
The Lexus is the wife's, I gots no control over that . But I drove the Taco to work yesterday and loved it, it will now be a toss up between the FJC and the Tacoma as to what I drive for fun
Looks like fun! I've always had a thing for rigs that can do well on the trail and then drive home.
1988 Blazer...RIP
You should get one that can do that some day dougie!
I dig it. I'd ditch the FJ and get a corvette. Then you have an off-road rig and something fun to drive on the street. Then when the taco is trashed, solid axle it, sell the corvette to me (partial trade on the trailer) and buy a tow rig! You really should just consult me before doing anything with cars, I've got it all figured out!
Also the title of this thread made me want Taco Bueno for lunch.

Boats and hoes
Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
Thunderbird will do just fine.
I am glad I helped?
Definitely was looking at getting something fun and ditching the FJC, I was really eyeing that 69 Camaro that Fred posted up, BUT I have decided with how little I owe on it, and how great of a truck it is, I will keep it for my trips to Colorado. Need a good SUV to tote the family around.
the old ones on the beast don't rust, they just show the old Missouri Dept. of Transportation Yellow through. Video would be good. I need to get some of my gma when she watches some of the vids from the trail.
Yah my mom dropped a few F-bombs when she saw Pigpen for the first time in three years at my ringdunk...
On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"
Ok been a while since I updated the thread. I have a big event coming up in two weeks and I decided it was time to make some upgrades to the Taco Bueno. since I am still getting used to how she wheels I decided not to do any wheeling upgrades but rather spend a couple of hundred bucks and replace the 1996 Tape Deck/AM/FM Wonderfulness.
-Pioneer Deck with CD player and USB cord for Ipod Control
-JL Audio 8" w3 Sub
-Pioneer 2 way door speakers
-Phoenix Gold 300x4 Amp to power it all
Pretty conservative system but it should be plenty to bump the Nuge down the trails.
Also got a couple of Tractor Lights that I am going to be using as back up lights in the rear. have to wire those up.
finally I traded a Clarke 220V Welder and cart for an ARB air locker and compressor for the front so I will be installing that in the next month or two.
Pics of it currently... to document progress. Will post pics of new stereo after tonight or tomorrow.
