    2008 Lone Star Toyota Jamboree



    The event that has grown to be one of the largest gatherings of Toyota off-road enthusiast and vendors held in Texas is having its 4th annual fun-filled weekend on January 15th-18th 2009 in Gilmer, Texas at the Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area.

    This family fun event is organized to raise awareness for Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (TMTC) and to promote camaraderie among all Toyota off-road enthusiasts, and we can't wait to see some of ya'll back out for another great event.

    Toyota Trail Riders is proud to announce that driver registration is now open for the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree

    This year we crammed even more fun into the three day weekend!

    Just $70 gets you
    - Park entrance to closed event
    - Three days of wheeling and camping
    - Friday night vender meet-n-greet and chili dinner

    Navigate the obstacle course blindfold with only the help of your trusted spotter.


    With tires squealing and engines revving, drivers rush to bet the clock while carefully navigating Barnwell Mountain's rock garden. Always a crowd favorite, drivers are placed into two different classes of equal competitors and the one with the furthest distance in the allotted time wins. A must see!


    Drivers saddle up and take on the Twister. Quickest one through wins.

    Ok Guys I know I am spamming this ****, but this is an important event to the Toyota guys out there

    Also I just managed to secure a Clarke 220V Mig welder in the Raffle so at least there will be a lot of great prizes!

    Chris, do you know anyone who has done a IFS conversion? We could use some parts off of a 4x4 truck, hopefully a 4runner.

    Cool. Yes, torsion bars and sway bars. Not very needed parts from what I can tell. Everyone seems to scrap them as they have next to zero resale value. Same vintage as our truck ('85).

    Well actually 85 to 89 4Runners and Trucks will be the same, and I think all the way until 95. I will see if anyone has anything laying around.
