not when you have your own pit crew.
it costs a little bit more when you can't just get them to just 'work for beer', but the kwality of work seems to be a bit better.

On the sliders.
I used 5 or so bolts on each side, only 4 actually hold the sliders on though 1 is just for looks. use hex head bolts, button heads look nice but get ground smooth. I have never actually taken mine off nor plan too.
Also seal them against the body with some black RTV so dirt and crap can't get between them and the body. They hold up great. Mine are still as strait as the day that I put them on the Jeep.

course thread 1 1/2" maybe 2". atleast grade 5.
One last question... Where do I get the angle Iron from again?
