    7. Proof of ownership or valid transfer registration certificate

You need a title or plate. Maybe you could just register CJ's via fax and then put the stickers on yours? I really doubt they are going to check vins as long as you have the sticker displayed.

Such headlamp shall be aimed so that glaring rays are not projected into the eyes of operators in oncoming vehicles when operated on a straight level surface.

    d. No off-highway vehicle shall be operated upon public land in this state between the hours of sunset and sunrise unless it is equipped with at least one red tail lamp having a minimum candlepower of sufficient intensity to exhibit a red light plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear under normal atmospheric conditions.

i do have it titled under my name, and in texas you dont have to have insurance and inspection to put a vehicle title under your name, you just have to tell them that it is an off road vehicle that sees no street time(trailered where ever it goes), thats what i did when i transferred the title to my mane on the blazer

is it limited to an "offroad" title once you have done this?

can you go back and get it registered and inspected?

i am going to get recreational insurance on it (limited mileage) but i would like to drive it on the street if i had to eventually

you can go back later and change it, all you have to do is pay some more money, if you register it as an off road only then you dont have some fee for the registration, bassically you are just telling the state that you own it and thus getting a title in your name

i was wondering the same thing, my brother was asking about going, but i told him i do not know how we are all getting down there now.

it kind of limits who can be added by flying in now.

Maybe someone can talk to Curry or Ben to see if they will drive down. We are getting pretty tight on trail seats too though, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue I don't think with all the walkin some do.
