yeah that's what I'm seeing. My bad. This is on a 4cyl Jeep, right? Shouldn't you be able to get one of those heads at a pick n pull for like $10, or out of someone's backyard for free? You must be getting close to the maximum reasonable effort that should be expended on that motor.

Again, why not use an EZ-out. Uber simple and even Hot Pocket could probably do it.

Yes, this is a four cylinder. I suppose I could pull one, but this one seems to be in good condition so I will stick with it. It's my DD, I don't want to take any risks.

I just don't think its going to be strong enough to get it out. If I can get back to Houston before Friday I will give it a shot not that its out, but if I can't I will just see if I can get my Dad to take it to a machine shop. That and it took me quite a bit of force to get the other bolts out, while using a 1/2" big breaker.

Did it take a lot of force just to break them, or every turn? Remember these broken ones aren't under tension.

Right, they are no longer under tension, usually come out easier. Get a lefty reverse rotation drill bit set from VatoZone to drill the holes for the EZ Out. Sometimes they will come out just by drilling the bolt. I like the round ez-outs better than the square.
    Boats and hoes

Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
    Thunderbird will do just fine.

Allot to break them, and for the first couple of full turns.

Well I guess there isn't really a risk... If I can see the head...

Maybe I should take out a student loan and drop in an LSX instead?
