    Tool help

I have some seriously seized bolts that are keeping my from pulling my manifold exhaust (cracked). I have shot them with pb blaster, and am using the largest breaker bar that will fit. But can get them to budge. Due to their location set into a little flange I can not saw them off. So I'm stumped.

Does any one have a MAP gas torch or something similar I can use to heat the nuts up in an attempt to break them loose?

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

down pipe bolts? if so you need an impact to get them off or plan on snapping them off. an impact will loosen the rust a little...if you're lucky. if the head impact as well or try hitting them w/ punch and hammer on the end to loosen a little.

Use a leverage device on the breaker bar.

Just how big is this bolt you can't snap? Maybe try eating meat and potatoes instead of salad?

dremel them off? If the manifold's trashed anyway, grind it off to make room? You can hit a (craftsman) ratchet on the handle with a 3lb sledge for a ghetto impact

Well, I have the intake manifold and fuel lines off, and p/s pump all off because they bolt up with the exhaust manifold... So its not exactly drivable... Unless I put it all back together.

My dremel is at my parents house in Houston.
Yes it is the down pipe bolts.

I have the largest size breaker that will fit in the space with out hitting a control arm or fender, exc. My tq wrench will not fit.

You should get a ride to Harbor Freight and get yourself a Chicago Electric dremel with 2-year warranty plan.

I think I might just put it all back together and drive to Houston and do it.
