    Question about gear install setup

So the front 44 i got from robbie had the pinion yoke on hand tight. My question is what do i need to do to correct this? If pinion was setup using shims i should just be able to tighen it back down and keep on going? If it used a crush sleeve can i just crush it a little more like 5 in/lbs, or will I need a new crush sleeve and have to reset pinion depth. If all of the above makes your head hurt tell me what i should do to fix this problem. I would like to figure out if i need to pull the gears out or if i can put the axle back together and throw it under the truck this weekend.

Just tighten it back down, I changed out the yokes and never had any issues.

Pretty sure it has shims but I bought it second hand. Supposed to replace crush sleeves each time you torque it down.

just tighten it back down and make sure not to overtighten it or you can crush the crush sleeve too much,

Also put some locktite on that pinion nut if you aren't using a new one
