    Wanted: Chevy NP205

    I need an NP205 for a chevy, not in a big hurry, but seeing if anyone has one.

    You need the whole thing or just the tail housing? If just the tail housing I believe you can also use one from a Ford 205...that's what I swapped on to my old 205. That could open up your options when looking.

    Northwest Fab has a billet housing and cover kit for a 205. If a ford one will work I have one at my shop I'll sell ya cheap.

    if you are looking for the whole thing what spline count will you need?

    I will need to research the spline count and if Ford parts will work. It is mated to an auto TH350, but I think they made 2 spline counts for that. Right?

    if its mated to a th350 then it is a 27 spline 205 and are much harder to find

    but that is the input, technically all he needs it the tail shaft/housing, so wouldnt any np205 work?

    i know that any chevy would work, i was just saying that if he wanted to find a whole replacement case

    No, he needs a fixed rear output. Beyond that, any Chevy 205 seal retainer should work and a ford one might too.
