    stacking wheel spacers

i know 1 is a bad idea but for a trail rig only could i get away with stacking them (having a 2" and a 2.5" on each side) for a front axle?

i know the scrub radius is gonna suck and the bearings are gonna wear fast but if i checked them before each trip would it be dangerous.

are you talking about a total of 4.5" at each tire or 2" on one front axle and 2.5" on the other? What size tires will you be running?

how in the hell would this effect the braking, maybe slightly more weight but other than that there is nothing that would effect the braking

find a dually adaptor if you need to go that wide, they used to sell them for suburbans back in the day.

If it's 8 lug, 2nd gen Dodge duallys had massive steel wheel spacers on the front from the factory. They are probably 6" or so deep. Only downside is they dont even come close to fitting over a D60 or 14 bolt hub but they might fit over a 44 hub.

but i'm trying to stay 5x5.5. may not even matter. i need to get the d44 cover off and make sure it is ok. there is excessive play in the yoke when i turn it. I was seeing if all those spacers which i have would make the d30 closer to the width of a truck 9" which is 64" right?
