Tire pressure gauge (guage, quick, coupler, staun airdown)

Looking into different ways to quickly adjust the pressure in your tires, and I came across a couple of different products. I don't know which would be the best to air down with.

A couple of T fittings, chucks, hose, and you could hook up to all four tires.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that this one lights up and would make airing down for night runs a bit easier.

Looks like you could change the gauge out on this one pretty easy to a low psi gauge.

I see no use for such things, The Klogger never airs up.

If you air down and air up (because real rigs drive home ) this is always a good option. I have one and love it.



Removes the core easily and provides good accuracy, but they are anywhere from 30 to 40 bucks. I have tried the Stauns that you put on each valve stem but I don't really like that it is hard to dial them in. I can normally air down all 4 tires (Only 33" tho) with the ARB from 35 PSI to about 12 PSI in about 2 min. Hope this helps!

Yes, that's a good one. I borrowed one from Rowdy and it did a mighty fine job. Now, just buy four of the ends so you can do all four at the same time.

the ARB deflator works pretty good but I am not sure how you (chris) get 30 lbs out of 4 tires in 2 minutes with one. A friend up here has one and it gets real tedious bringing 35s down to 12 lbs. Ed with your truck I think you'll be happier with something like this:

I have one like it and I like that it holds a couple of spares for when you drop one in the dirt!
pull the stem out until it starts to whistle (about 10 psi) then put the stem back in and fine-tune

I use erics meathod, but like the Klogger I usually don't air up and just I drive it on the street aired down too

I hate pulling the valve stem because I always end up losing it or airing it down too low. I don't usually keep more than 20 something PSI in my tires these days anyway, but I just use my gauge with a bleeder valve. I don't remember what brand, but it looks like below. Mine bleeds as fast as using a car key or the like. Takes a few minutes a tire, but there is usually time while people are fawking off locking in hubs and bull****ting anyway. I've always had other places to spend money on my truck instead of gimmick bull**** airdown devices and the like. I did have a great gimmick bull**** idea one time that I think land rover and expedition type people would buy. Tire air freshener. You put it in there before you air down so that the air that comes out smells like bubble gum or mystic breeze or something. Edit: Also Ed, if a setup to air down all four tires at once is what you are down to spending your money on this project, I would call it finished and start spending money on something else. Maybe a boat? Maybe a girlfriend? Both are an equally great way to burn cash!

Ask Busa. He has something that he was loving in Trees. He was telling Greg to get some. I think it's probably Staun ones.

I use valve stem pullers. The cap ones on each corner. I lose them every couple of years. I keep some spare caps and stems in the glove compartment. They're cheap and it moves a lot of air. I rarely even use a gauge. When I do, I tend to borrow Fred's.

Again, they are 33x10.5's but when you do it right and get the valve stem completely out it takes about 30 seconds to get them down to 12 PSI. That's where I came up with 2 min.

Again I got some small tirahs compared to ya'll.

Scott also carries a few of these on spare valve stem... which it turns out can also come in handy.

I use the staun ones. They are slow but i pop them on before i load up and when i get everything straped down i take them off. Set the pressure you want on the staun then that is it. I like mine. I have two sets. One for me and one for the wifes.

I have a few of those already (and have a few here in the office also) The ones I have though don't have the storage space in them though, just a valve puller for the large bore valves. I would like to put the large bore valves on my H1's one of these days, but I have to figure out where they will fit with minimal fab work on them. They are the ones that are on large equipment tires and such, and let me tell ya, you can move some air real quick through them.

I dated a girl whose father was the sales manager at a boat dealership once. He taught/showed me how expensive a boat can get, and she showed me how expensive the gf can get. No need to learn that lesson twice. I think I am going to try to skip the whole dating thing this time and just go straight to vegas and get married.


Oh, and for what it's worth, I was looking more for something to air up and even out the pressure on my dually now that I am moving up to 19.5"s. Just thought this would be a good topic and couldn't find a tech thread on it.
