    I just noticed that the owners manual calls for 1/2" or better cable, but the largest they offer is 7/16". Strange.

    My M12000 is mounted feet down and it got used quite a bit dragging Robbie's **** around in Clayton, no problems yet.
    On the 8th day god created the Super Swamper TSL and said "go forth and kick ass"

    I wouldn't have any problems with mounting it that way mind you. I just think this might be a better way if done properly.

    oh, and dragging robbie's pile, and having to drag my heavy ass (and the pig of a rig I drive ) over a big ledge may be a bit different.

    i have my warn 12000 mounted the same as sharpe and have had not problems with it either, but i dont have many hard pulls on it yet
