Craftsman brand hand tools, made in USA by Danaher Tool Group. (Craftsman power tools are imported). Available from SEARS and KMart.
I used to carry a cheap walmart tool set in my truck, just to have, i have since added it to my craftsman stuff. While I was taking off those caliper brakets I broke every walmart reducer and extension i had, but the craftsman stuff held up.
Do they automatically give you the laser-etched one or is it just what they got behind the counter? I broke a 3/8's ratchet the same day i'll have to see what they give me when i return it.
Well that's good they are still made in the US.
As far as I know, the only thing you can get is laser etched, but I'm hope I'm wrong. Someday I'd like to spend some money on hand tools and will probably buy craftsman.
All I was really trying to do was help him out since he didn't have much money and needed tools. In addition, we haven't had any problems with the harbor freight hand tools.
1988 Blazer...RIP
if you look, you can still get them in the stamped numbers
