Who wants to go on the cheap. Tix are $200ish out of IAH, actually cheaper that Southwest.

I'm talking split a room, watch comp, goto a bar, that's about it. No machine guns, gambling, or sight-seeing for me this time.

We can start a new thread to avoid clogging up andy's awesomeness.

    Andy-maniacs for life!!!

Hooters is $481 for flight and hotel room, Trump is $497 and Excalibur is $499. I just went through expedia and did hotel + airfare for 1. So basically split the room with someone else that buys a separate and it comes out to $350/person.

I dont know where any of these hotels are, or where the comp is held in relation to them.

Do NOT stay at Trump, the rooms are nice don't get me wrong, but it is off the strip and they don't have a casino. They are a hotel in VEGAS and don't have a CASINO! Whickey Tango Foxtrot?!? It is also down by the Wynn, behind the mall (i.e. center of the strip)

Hooters I have never stayed at nor been in but it is also off the strip behind MGM. Excaliber is right next to New York New York and while on the strip it is at the very beginning. I would check out New York New York and the MGM they both should have pretty good deals going cause they are geared more towards the mid 20's crowd.

a friend of samantha's always stays at hooters. By the time you pick flights with reasonable times the tickets are $400. hooters is a $100/night. Mgm is $195 and New York is $170.

Where are all the fcukers that said they were interested?

    Jimmy?
    Hippie?
    Buttkiss?
    Coop?

I'm in fawking Quemado, TX on The Mexican cell network. Try www.vegas.com for flight + hotel deals. Hooters and Hard Rock are supposed to be best for our age crowd these days, but the older casinos like Ballys or Harrahs might have the closest prices to what you might pay downtown at some place like The Nugget...

Will charge my phone and report back later, discuss amongst yourselves.

I'm definitely interested, would fly standby on SWA more than likely. I'll just have to see what's up in the next month.

Hmm. Happy Birthday to me? I think I have a meeting in Dallas, but I'm not seeing it in my calendar. I would say I'm "hopeful" since I'm still not sure how this kiddo thing is going to work out. The good thing is that Whitney could spend the weekend in ATX with the fam, so that would be fine.

Looks like the comp is at the Orleans, which is on Tropicana Ave (off the strip). Looks like www.vegas.com has rooms at the Orleans for $155/night that friday and saturday. Excalibur is $156, Hooter's is $145, Paris & New York New York are ~$250.

if a lot of people get committed, I hear that VRBO is the ticket for nice accommodations in Vegas. People rent out their apartments in the MGM Grand or whatever and with the rental you get access to pools and stuff, and they don't care how many people stay there
