This means more to karl then you actually know. Ask the mailbox on the way to katemcy, or the trashcan by my old apartments.

I think the frontier has the best finish work of any of the cheap bumpers. Costs the same as ranch hand. My dad's got the bullnose one on his dually. Frontier is just about all my brother sells any more. Brown's is good but not as cheap as they used to be.

why do they have to put diamond plate on the side of the bumper? Is someone going to be standing on there? I think it looks like poo.

12k is the right size for your truck, 9k would be too small. I think the rule is 1.5X the weight of the vehicle. 7k+3.5K=10.5K

So I was bow hunting last night, except by hunting I mean sitting in a tree in the rain, pissing in a beer bottle. After dusk I need to put some corn in my feeder. I backed my truck down, filled the feeder and was driving off when all of the sudden the gates of hell opened up and sucked my front axle in. This was about 7:45 at night in the middle of 10,000 acres of woods

I called my buddy who had a Z-71, he pulled from the front, he pulled from the front, and nothing moved (insert sexual joke here). He would launch with like 10 to 15' of slack in the sling and the truck would not move!!

I had him drive me to Livingston where Carrie met me. In the morning Jerry came over to my house, we hooked the klogger up and head towards the duramax (well kind of a duraminus at this point). Jones met us on the way. Here is what she looked like in the morning....

I positioned the klogger just past a little ledge. Then I hooked the Ramsey 8000, double lined to it. Jones anchored to a pine tree and hooked his Warn 9000, double lined to it. We both tried to pull with it in neutral, no go, the Klogger was sliding forward....

I got in the Duramax, Jerry operated the Klogger, and Jones tugged his best. I put the Duramax in reverse and held about 10 mph, slowly but surely she came out. Here are the ruts that resulted. I must have hit a really soft spot because there was no real large ruts leading up to it, my front just sank...

Thoughts on this, front reciever hitch from e-trailer, rated for 9000#'s, install is easy and is not too low.

You Tube video of an install
