x5 on price range. This will help to narrow down what you want.

I think a fullsize is a great place to start w/ a rig. If you can learn to drive one down a non-fullsize friendly trail, if you ever drop down to a buggy or heep/yota sized vehicle it is that much more gravy.

What do you think of Scouts? I've got a well seasoned one I'll sell you. It has been one of the most reliable rigs in the club.

As much as I want to kick you in the balls for even thinking this, you are 110% correct. That would be an awesome first rig.

add: center diff lock if it doesn't have it, 33" muds, disconnect sway bar, call it done.

comes w/ traction control. great truck to learn on and very forgiving.

Sad enough to say...Travis is completely right. I want something big and VERY different from my Escape(so i'm not sure i'm big on a jeep cherokee or land rover) I want something that is already lifted because i know it's expensive to lift and i don't know how to. I will probably want it to be street legal so i have the option to drive it. I can afford to go a little bit pricier so that I won't get in over my head on repairs. I've been looking around but i have no idea what i should be looking for as far as all the specifics go!! so far i have 1. big 2. lifted 3. flue injected I would love any suggestions (but you may have to explain them to me)

And i'm going to name it the Beast just for you John Brown : D

I pulled this out of the trash as a good example of what this thread should not evolve into.
