    Humvee Tires?

Would some 37" humvee tires be good for everyday driving? I need some new tires cheap and I found some I could use. What do you guys think?

That is an ok deal unless that is the exact size you want. Those are the later model ones that are radials and meant for the 12 bolt wheels. Make sure the ones you get are the same tread as the picture though.

What vehicle will these be going on?

I liked those when I had them on a work truck when they first came out. I don't know if the mil-spec tires are built differently though. They weren't loud, rode decent and had pretty good traction in the mud.

Yeah 79 bronco with 4 inch lift. It has some bald 35" Coopers on it right now with no rubbing. The bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5.

You're not going to find 5x5.5 16.5" wheels unless they're custom, like recentered hummer rims...

or kustom, like KrazyKarl's homemade rims.

Recentering H1 rims would definitely negate the savings on those tires.

To add to this, like I said earlier the radial tires are meant for the 12 bolt rims. The radials take up to ~70 PSI IIRC and the 8-bolt rims cant hold that much pressure, thats why the 12 bolt rims were introduced. The bias ply/ 8-bolt combo is only rated to air up to ~30 PSI or so.

Since you dont already have rims, I would pass on the tires.

Would you really want to run a 37" tire over 30lbs anyways? On a 10k lb humvee maybe, but not on a eb.

US Wheel makes normal 16.5x9.75 steel wheels with 5x5.5 pattern.
