    All I've got is a mid grade Cox Cable modem, but I regularly use to to download multi-gig (totally legal!) files.

    It takes me for ever to get more than a few hundred meg of por...er video downloaded on the **** connection that I have here. The new provider is loads better than the old one though, so I don't bitch too much.
