Rubber isolation is your friend in a trail truck. I had poly spring bushing motor mounts in Pigpen and they transmitted noticibly more vibration through the body than rubber mounts. With all this solid mounting of ****, the din and vibration in the cab is going to piss you off.

These hummer wheels are kicking my ass. they keep leaking around the bead, not in between the two halves.

    8 bolt h1's
-new o-rings with axle grease on them
    -torqued to 100 ft/lbs
-rubber runflats cut down for the beefy bead on the tsl

Also, got toob for my roll cage.

That sucks man, I had one of my 12 bolts leak but it was the O-Ring only. I wish I could tell you. The only thing I have seen is something about the beads on some of the Rockers being too thick to sit properly but never anything on TSL's.

those wheels are a mofo to keep air in. we always had 1 or 2 that would leak on our h1's but with ctis we never really tried to fix it cause they are so hard to get off the rim.

Big Boy tires back on! Problem was pitting on the bead of the rim. A little bit of bead sealer and a torque wrench made em seal....

a fresh coat of "diesel smoke metallic" and they're good to go.

Had to buy new nuts for one wheel. Fastenal grade G flange nuts were only about $1.20 a piece. Might do it to all of the wheels, makes em look alot better.

I notice I can see thru the dash board in that pic, what is your plan? Sheet metal with gauges and switches mounted? Would be cool if you could integrate the glove box in

The firewall will consist of part of the factory firewall plus some sheet metal and small angle for bracing. The dash will be attached to the cage, which will be started as soon as I can get it movable/towable to Evan's.

Is it really that nice, or is it just well packaged? I seem to remember someone saying their stuff wasn't anything special.
