why not do the rear first seeing as it is an easy project and not start on the front until you have all the parts?

I don't know when it will be on the trail again. We plan on building the radius arms and at least mocking it up this weekend. I don't know what i'm going to do for shocks or springs. Definately by the start of school, hopefully by the end of next week.

Yup, you cut all the useful stuff off. Good job.

Seriously though, how about some explaination of what you are trying to do with the radius arm brackets, because I can not figure it out after 6 beers.

The bronco radius arm mounts are tied into the transmission crossmember, so the radius arm mount part was cut off, the cracks were welded back up, wire wheeled and painted, then they'll be put back on.

A new radius arm bracket will be made about 18" behind the old one.

Travis, it looks like the r/a bushings are a two piece with a metal sleeve. We need to hit out the sleeve and pry the bushings. The trailmaster kit is $50.

I still say weld the new mount with the old ones in there and if they make it, then cool, if they don't then replace them.

    Ahh, much better with explanation.

Check out 80 to 96 radius arm bushings, I think they are $14 bones at the part store, atleast they used to be back in the day.
