    so i have an AMC 360 V8 in my waggy and i was wondering how hard would it be to swap in a 700 r4 for teh TF 737 i would like to have that overdrive for driving home might help on the 9 mpg will it work?? will it mate with the t-case??

    Sounds like it might be tough and or expensive for adaptors...maybe there is some kind of upgrade like a th350 to 700r4 for the chrysler trannies

    AA makes a plate adapter, I think adapting it would be no different than putting a th350 behind an amc engine and thats been done very often.

    I hear that CJ swaps have problems with driveshafts clearing the tranny, but since the drop is on the other side for you that shouldn't be an issue.

    I think it would be cool to have OD on the wagoneer. throw a tbi kit on there and you have a modern tow rig
