you must also remember that i have a few years on even you. this is round two for me at tamu. looks like second time is the charm
that said i don't classify my self as an old guy.... i'm in my own special catagory
Red 81 CJ5, 35's, 4.10 and detroit, 4 to 1 dana 300, tbi efi, flat belly, cage, chromos and auzzie in front... sometimes runs. body damage to come
ya because your retareded and your jeep only runs twice a year...
After working on buying parts for a few of the JK's we've had to work on here at the shop lately I'd suggest you keep any engine saving electronics intact as you can. The last one had less than 20k miles, a rod through the side of the block and an auto trans that looked like someone had built a campfire inside of. We have another that was a theft recovery that caught on fire when the would-be theives drove it through a field trying to evade capture.
what about the times youve had it in mud up to the doors.....

i mention that because if you have an auto you need to make shure no water got it. water in a tranny will kill it fast....

I believe I had the tranny fluid changed not too long? I could be wrong though... Highly doubt any water is in it as I FOR SURE had my diff. fluid changed not too long ago and there was nothing in it. Where would be a good place to go for a tranny fluid change though?

its not hard to just drop the pan and change the filter, but it doesnt change all the fluid in it........ but its by far better than nothing...
