I don't think so, but we really don't yet have a policy for that. However we are working on it along with plenty of other stuff (such as turning names into Stu-Act for each trip). Let's not turn this thread into a policy discussion.

They were all pretty hesitant but after a little peer pressure and hazing, they started to push their vehicles a little harder.

Wish there would have been a few other older members with rigs to help out, but they did great for a first trip out. We just nee to emphasize the need for proper recovery points, and tow straps next time.

Here is an idea. Have a wrenchfest on a Saturday or weekend for the newer guys where the older members can help them get recovery points mounted.

Hooks are bad. You want fully captured shackle mounts.

Damn, well that's what I've got for now. I don't have a way to mount any other points without drilling. The hooks have a latch on the backside though- not load bearing of course.

Factory style tow hooks are really your best and only option on stock bumpers.
They will work fine for now.

I would check out ebay for a rear TJ hook.

These are what I use in the front:

To weld to sheet metal bumpers? Or weld to the cross-members? Might as well build a bumper if you are going to do that.
