Keep an eye out for 80 Series parts on all of these club websites. They are all Texas based clubs that are either Toyota 4x4 enthusiasts or straight up Land Cruiser clubs. Most folks have 80 Series cruisers for family hauling duty so parts are plentiful. The final link is to IH8MUD the numero uno source for all Land Cruiser stuff (but I am sure you already knew that ) Their classified section is extensive and plentiful. Someone will be selling something somewhere.

Also to install any thing in your 80 series Diff (it is a 9.5" Chunk) you will have to drop the actual diff out of the axle not just pull the cover on the back side. In my opinion it is actually easier than the jeep and one-ton boys but to each their own.
Thanks, I've been a member on ih8mud for years. Its the only reason I know anything about my rig. Great site.

You are 100% correct in that statement. BUT...........

You are wrong if you think I can't get away w/ sh!ttier tires on the gn w/ it being duals.

I still can't figure out what word "rewuired" was supposed to be though.

For the record, my trailer has one radial trailer tire, one bias ply trailer tire and two bias ply truck tires on it. If blow outs become an issue, I have 3 more 7.50-16 truck tires that will be used before any new ones are bought. Two of them are co-op mud type tires

    required.

I second about good trailer tires. I am glad I spend the money on good tires because Corpus, colorado, california, colorado, dallas would have been a long trip with ****ty tires .

That being said good tires will do 80 cheap ones won't however this only applies if you truck can pull said trailer at 80

i didn't say put bad tires on it i just said that often tire shops will trash tires that are more than adequate and more than safe to use on a trailer
