    What kind of wheeling is this? Ill probably end up going, but if I do I'd like be there friday-sunday.

    Gilmer is actually somewhat more organized than Alto. In theory it is run by the state. There is an old crotchity man at the entrance that no one likes (yes I know this is a public thread, I don't care if people read it). Other than that the campsites are decent, bathrooms are clean. As for wheeling it is hill climbs like the ones at Alto, but better. There are no mud pits. Trails are named, labeled, and have ratings in front of them.

    I am done with class at 1:10. So I was thinking about leaving around 2 or 2:30.

    Would it be worth my time to head up on Friday, wheel some of Saturday, and then head to Waco for the game?

    Yes.

    I will have to find time to go to Houston and pick up some camping stuff.
    If I make it in the Jeep I will be taking it easy.

    hotpocket you still need a rear bumper, or atleast some recovery points before the trip

    just go to tractor supply and get a weld on d ring or two, they are only a few bucks each
