    Winch Fairlead Mount

How should I mount my winch fairlead on my bumper?

I was thinking about just a 1/4" Plate butt welded to the surface and a triangular gusset on each side?

how much stress do these see? I guess it could have 10,000lbs on it right?

Post a picture of the front bumper on your bronco so people can see what you're working with.

Also, wouldn't it be cool if there was a place where everybody could ask their random tech questions?

I'd double or even triple that number if you're behind the wheel

if the welds have good penetration then that should be pleanty strong tommy, i would think that you wouldnt even need 1/4 you should be fine with 3/16 material. I am using 3/16 for my 12k winch fairlead with out any triangulation and it only flexes a little
