Was out at K2 this past weekend. They have marked a ton of the trails and put "ratings" on them. I was super impressed by everything. Randy and Shane were great as always. Food at the shack was awesome as usual too. I guess you could say I love that place.

I want TCCX to be a success. I want as many TAMOR past and present there as we can get. I want friends, family, and other clubs there to enjoy a weekend of good wheeling topped off with a great, yet informal comp. on Sunday.

There really does not seem to be much interest up to this point like we typically get for Shiloh Ridge or Clayton. That is unfortunate, bc K2 is a great place to wheel and is not too far of a drive.

Where do we stand with K2? I assume we have talke to Randy or Shain and they know that we are coming? I assume they know this is not going to be the huge event that it has been in the past? They seemed pretty surprised by the small turnout and lack of organization last year and I do not want that to happen again.

Where do we stand with T-shirts and how much will they cost?

Does the club have money for comp prizes? Is asking for $200 to buy the prizes too much? Getting sponsors to donate is great, but remember that it bears a responsibilty to promote their product and simply giving out the prize on SUnday when everyone else is leaving wouldn't suffice.

Can we show up Thursday? Friday is fine, we just need to know.

Burn ban? I can bring wood

Can we lightly promote this on Facebook,Tx4x4, PIrate? The last post on our Facebook site is from 2/14, over a month ago and I do not see a mention of one of the biggest events of the year?

    Are we doing food?

I am going ot say this with a smiley face at the end, but I think ya'll are seriously slacking on ths. I don't bust yalls balls like most of the other older guys do, but come the **** on. Maybe this was all talked about at the meeting. If so great, but please post up on the board what all was talked about. Isn't that an officers job anyway? If you say you are busy with school, please post up your address so I can come over and punch you in your vagina.

I will handle the comp as well the prizes if I can get an answer on how to buy them. I will also contact Randy/Shain via email if you guys haven't already. I will also start promoting it has a casual weekend of wheeling at K2 where you can buy a T-shirt and compete in an informal comp with some low dollar prizes.

I love you JB for actually caring about this event. I am actually considering buying another rig if I don't get a day or two to work on mine before this event because it is important to me.

    Well said JB.

In years past including when I was president, we would have a few sponsor donated prizes then end up going to 4wheelparts to buy prizes. They threw in small/less expensive items for free when informed about the event.
