Motor spins over fine. I just put a whole new ignition system on it. Wasn't getting spark but I haven't tried starting it since I put new points on it the other day. I can't vouch for whether or not it's been rebuilt but my grandpa said it ran strong when he used it. Only reason it started sitting was because my grandpa got to old to hunt all the time and this was his lease truck. I'll go to travis's house with a fresh battery and see if it'll fire. There's probably 100 bucks in new **** on it so I'm not going any lower than that. As far as the transmission and t-case, if I'm saving them I might as well let somebody on craigslist pay me more than 5 dollars.

Because plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and coil don't care if you have points or not. I didn't say I bought $100 worth of points and condenser.

Just in case you thought you were sitting on a gold mine of slightly used 70s ignition parts. That crap is cheap brand new with a warranty.

Nobody wants that **** when the engine you're selling is a rebuilder or spare.

Ya I know, I just didn't want even more crap sitting around, and don't really want to pull anything apart.

I'll sell it to you for scrap value. Wiki says an FE weighs 650 lbs. and bryan iron is giving $11/100lbs right now so that comes out to $71.50. And I keep the new stuff.
