    1980 Toyota ***ux

Hi, My name is Karl, I have a problem, I am the East Texas Redneck whisperer, if a redneck in East Texas list something on craigslist, I can get in his mind and talk him down. The real problem is then I can not buy the item, like this:

1980 Toyota "hilux", I will call it the ***ux, because well it is a pile of crap. Redneck in Dayton was asking $1800, I paid $500... He actually said, don't let me wife see the money, she would be pissed if she knew I was selling this for $500! Here are the good things about it.

    - Good 22R engine (these came with 20r's)
    - New Alternator
    - New KC lights
    - Brand new and I mean like the guy bought it a week ago Optima battery
    - New Clutch
    - Marlin 4.7 t-case (supposedly, I have not verified)
    - Chromo Axle shafts (supposedly)
    - 5. something gears in the axle
    - $500 and I drove it on the trailer

    The Bad
    - Shatty body, seriously shatty, I mean I walked away from the thing at a G and the guy texted me on my way home bad. No windshield, crappy seat, etc...
    - "New Fuel Cell" as reported by owner. In Dayton, Tx a new fuel cell is a boat gas tank...
    - 35" tires, granted they hold air, the 2 front are Truxus, the rears are Mickey Thompson's, pretty old, pretty shatty
    - Mini Truck axles, guy says he has never broke anything, but they look like toothpicks.
    - Feeling that you know what c0ck tastes like because you own a toyota...

So what is the plan with this vehicle? I am going to remove the crappy seats from the back, put a cooler in, and wheel the piss out of it!

I am planning on going to Down South Off Road in Crosby tomorrow (Sunday 1/29) if anyone wants to hang out!

Accurate, previous owner said chevy springs. I guess this dual shackle thing is a normal yota thing?

Exactly. Spooby is so fun because of it's potential. Not what it is. Once we have it wheeling it will lose it's charm.

the ***ux is a rig for when the klogger is getting a new body?
