    Late 70s CJ..

Looking for a CJ, preferably Late 70s with the 304 in decent originalish condition and driveable.

Just wanting something as a light wheeler and nice day cruiser, nothing hardcore, no projects, not overpriced or beat to crap. Apparently that's a lot to ask of a CJ in Texas..

I've missed two on CL for $3-4k in damn good shape by a day or so.

I love the 258, but a factory powered 304 CJ is awesome. And I like the D300 that comes post-80, but you get too far into the 80s and you get to deal with Carter BBD bull****. A Renegade Package 304 powerered CJ7 is my ideal, but I'd take a 258 powered normal CJ if it was in good shape.

I'd accept an '80-'82 CJ as well, I'm just working on owning at least one Jeep from every year of the 1970s so that doesn't help me there. I've owned a '73,'74,'77, and a '79. So almost half way there!

Plus I just have a general distrust of all things 80s.

I missed this one for $4k because I was waiting on my bonus check. I'm third in line for it this weekend, but somehow I think it'll sell.

There are typos present in this post that AREN'T present when I go to edit the post. Weird. Freaking old ass workplace IE version..
