I have a set of front axle shafts from an 87 grand waggy Dana 44. Short side is 29 1/8 and long side is 43 7/8. Splines are 19 on hub end and 32 on diff. End.

are you sure the inner spline count is 32? I don't know of any d-44 that was 32-spline stock. It should be 30.
