So after 7 years of staring at my blue Jeep on jack stands in the garage, I decided that I wanted something new. Got all the paperwork finalized the last couple of nights on a new Freedom / Oscar Mike Edition Wrangler. It was the first of two on this dealer's lot and most, if not all 1300 of them hit lots last week. We've been looking for a Deep Cherry Red Metallic 4-door with a black hard top and the options I want for a few weeks now and this one fit the bill.

I'm working on gathering some parts and need to get tires ordered soon. Going to start with a spacer lift and taller tires on the wheels it has to keep some of the color-matched gray stuff together. If I can make up my mind on bumpers I think I'll have them color-matched to the grille to keep the same look. The sticker on the hood has to go, makes me feel like the Jeep is wearing a flat-brimmed hat cocked to the side.
