    Fort Hood OHV access

There is a petition floating around to reopen Ft Hood and I think everyone on this board should sign it. This club wouldn't have gotten off the ground if we didn't have Fort Hood to wheel, and it seems like we've been looking for a local replacement ever since it closed.

Go sign it, and maybe I'll finally get a chance to see if the Disco can do the same trails my CJ5 once did

It's been tried many times. My uncle was the garrison commander of fort hood a couple of years ago and he says it probably won't happen.

The game warden gave me and my dad tickets for riding four wheelers out there last year.

I did some training out there and ran across a soldier driving his personal blazer out to a fishing spot, he seemed to be having fun.
plenty of area but its a big security concern for the base, plus if you ever go to Ft. Lewis near Seattle all that land is open and all it turns into is random people trashing the place with garbage and interfering with training. The army doesn't seem to police an area and clean it up like a private park can...
