    Nearly complete 400ex

    I basically have a disassembled 2003 400ex that's taking up space.

    The good:
    Two bottom ends
    Two cylinders
    New piston

    The bad:

Needs tires, handle bars and seat cover
    It's in a million pieces

I was thinking 350 obo and you could probably double that on ebay

Cool, are both bottom ends complete? Is the electrical complete? I assume no duplicates on that stuff?

Were the axles/suspension in decent shape, or were they going to need a rebuild?

I think I have 2 of most all engine parts.

I would venture to say all suspension parts are rideable but well used.

Also I believe the electrical is complete, I'll have to double check

So, since I'm interested in the motor stuff, I've got to ask, why do you have piles of parts? Are the bottom ends trashed? Doesn't give me a warm feeling to see open cases laying on the ground.

My understanding the guy I bought it from was going to make two bikes but lost interest after nearly completing the one I have. There are two of all the engine parts because I believe one was bad, not sure what all was bad though. One cylinder has a new sleeve and big bore piston to go with it. This is definitely a project.
