Again, not sure why you guys don't get this.

Wouldn't have to get someone to pull it back home for me either!

Granted the (04-08s) are more expensive than a ragged out old 7.3, probably for good reason
I'm not mindlessly talking ****, just pointing out issues you've had. My truck just had the transmission rebuilt from "natural causes" at 245k I don't know were you got the idea that my truck has been unreliable. I haven't really had to do that much to it. It's not like I have to work on it to keep it on the road.

I don't think you get it. It's not just the motor, it's the whole truck. They hold up well to almost anything (age, abuse, miles, etc). My f250 had 260k on it when it got stolen and it wasn't worn out at all. Everything from the suspension to the steering to the transmission was tight. That truck was amazing and it was a sub $5k "ragged out 7.3". Nobody buys a truck just for the motor unless they buy a dodge.

I can't really argue with you on that one except that one was Tommy's doing. He had no more spare tires. My truck did nothing weird on that trip.

Still playing the college kid budget game here, not the grown up I like this way more expensive truck so I'll buy it game

Really, you don't know? Maybe from your own posts on this forum?

That's because there was a bunch of small **** right after i bought it. I haven't had to do anything in a while.

JB you drive a diesel. Any argument that you try to make about gas truck being better is invalid. You upgraded so obviously they aren't the bomb diggity

$7000. With the fancy wheels and it could be a good truck. Looks like the interior maybe rough.

you should just delete that link and not look back. 280k and the transmission has a bad syncro. for 8k I wouldn't touch it. you're going to be replacing everything in the suspension, hubs, if injectors haven't been done yet they're going to be needed soon. That's just way too many miles on a truck to not be your own. especially for 10k.

that's what I was thinking. he'll get what he's asking for it though. Dumb ass rednecks will pay for lifted trucks.
