    1999 XJ Crawler (The OD)

So the past few months have been interesting for me. I sold the danger ranger at the beginning of the summer and purchased a 2000 f250 7.3l in immaculate condition with only 70k miles and joined the diesel douche club ha and today I used the truck to go pick up 1999 xj with custom 3 link, dana 44s, full spool in the front, locker in the rear, 4.88 gears, hydraulic assisted steering, 35 inch TSLs, and apparently it only has 90k original miles...... Tell me what yall think of the jeep!

Sounds like you found yourself a couple of good deals!

So, I am trying to rebuild 2 heim joints on my 3-link and I am wondering how you size those joints so I dont sound like an idiot when I call ruff stuff tomorrow. I am just trying to order the polymer bushings that go around the ball inside the joint.

Sounds like you have either a Johnny joint or a ballistic joint, can you post a picture? Heims are replaceable as a whole, no parts to change out.

I need to replace the rubber bushings in both of the ends. They are 2 different sizes too. I have no idea what brand they are or anything because the longs arms were custom built.

You're going to have to do some research and measure what you have and try to figure out what brand they are. Here's a few:

So I found the contact information of the guy who built this jeep and he said that those rods ends he ordered from rustys offroad. I found all the bushings on rustys website and I am about to replace all of them. Also I am getting a new title for $2 so this jeep is officially a $1702 street legal, low mileage, long armed, dana 44, hydro assisted, locked jeep, on 35in TSLs..... I win....
