Talking new axles for me, hehehe

picked up a pair of D60's today up here in RI.

They look pretty funny after all the snow melted off them in the back of the new rental Explorer.

I will take a pic tomorrow morning as I load them in our work test trailer for shipment back to Houston

Did I mention I paid $56 for both???? Free shipping????

wait around long enough, you always find a good deal

I never said I was putting them on my truck.... I might just hold on to them for a while and build them up.

might make the front a Toyota/60 hybrid for a high pinion third member. So many choices...

And NO - no 8.8 calipers, no other good axles. They were at a friends backyard from work, he had ALL KINDS of crap out there. Remember that pic of the Scout with the wooden seat and roof I sent out last year - yep that was his backyard!

The axles were frozen to the ground. Last night the windchill was -40 degrees. That front took 4 of us to get it into the explore which only had 2400 miles onit. He has a ton of big mack trucks and old 1 1/2 ton fords. He also had a trailer with a model A engine mounted onit running a large saw to cut logs. There was a semi trailer full of tranny and engine parts. I finally got to see the Scout in person and the real thing is even cooler then how it looks in the picture.
