gilmer was cold, wet, and sloppy. i had a great time, but was only there for 5 hours MAX. i rode in as a spotter for my friend scott in his 75 EB. after watching a built TJ walk up the first part of "twister" he declined my offer to get out and spot. we got about half-way up before the 4-barrel stopped us cold. he set the e brake and tried to restart the motor, but with the e brake set and his foot on the brake pedal we still slid backward down 2 ledges and then we rolled. no injuries, but the driver fender was ruined, driver back window gone, and minor dings and scratches... it was cool.

was this the guy with the bronco that was in on the ranger fiasco, the "driver"?
    Boats and hoes

Stumble in to the liquor store
With a dollar-fifty for a bottle of wine,
I know just what I'm lookin for
    Thunderbird will do just fine.

yeah thats him. it wasn't totally his fault, BUT... a more experienced driver would probably have been able to take action to avoid the rollover. it was his first time on a real trail... kind of a chitty introduction into the world of off-road.
