Yes, I need some (Seth & Brian). The mail is in and I don't think they're here. This is what I had on there:

I paid by MO. ****er. Anyone know anyone who lives in VA that can burn a house down?

PS - I also have a set of stock TBI truck manifolds if anyone needs some.

Shipman is pretty close to VA isn't he? If not, I bet "he knows a guy"

Gil (usmcDoc) on pirate. He has alot of guns.

Go to the post office and ask them about pursuing interstate mail fraud charges. Receiving a postal money order as payment is a bad way to try to screw people over.

Bryan hose and gasket should be able to make a slave hose. They made mind a couple of years ago. They have a shat load of fittings to accommodate most things.

That dick will probably send it eventually. It will just obviously be after the date that I needed it. Bad feedback here I come.

So on to the good news. Exhaust and slave hose came off of the bus clean. Nothing broke. Got them installed back on the Cruiser. The easiest exhaust I've ever dealt with. I got rid of that hose crap on the top of the manifolds. Steering pump back on. Pulley on. Belt on. Clutch is bled.

I noticed that two of the four kingpin bolts (I don't have studs) were broken. I welded on nuts and backed them out. Getting new ones in the morning. It's ready to go back together. I picked up new plugs, wires, a rotor and a cap JIK. It runs pretty good!

Tomorrow: Skid plate needs to be bolted back up. The new D60 bolts need to go on once I get them. Computer bracket needs to be attached. The oil pressure sending unit is probably a switch, not a sender. Need to trade that out tomorrow. Floor peice needs to be bolted down. Inline fuel filter needs to be added before the pump. That's about it. It's almost ready to go!

I'm probably going to have to get a remote reservoir for the steering. I've been fighting it, but I think it's inevitable. May even require a PSC pump. I definitely need a new ram. I'll see how it works this trip.

Much thanks to Robert and Seth for all of the help and to Brandon for the use of the shop. Without the shop it would have been a giant PITA and wouldn't have gotten done. Without Flem and Seth, the engine would probably still be sitting on the garage floor. Thanks guys, you made the last two weeks of late nights fun.

Much beer to be drank this weekend.

Are you trying to use the oil pressure switch for your gauge? Because that should being going to the computer to shut off the fuel pump if the oil pressure drops. But it sounds like you got it running without it so I guess you've got the fuel pump run directly from a switch?

Yeah, in a FlemCo harness, the oil pressure safety switch is removed from the system. No need for that **** in an offroad rig that can sometimes run on it's side with no oil pressure. Actually, the habit started from when we were doing the IH's that didn't make enough oil pressure at idle to register on the gauge. heh.

Flem and Seth helped get everything tied up on Friday and we got on the road. It took me a while to get it dialed in. I'm a little rusty on the driving also. After a few obstacles and several rounds of airing down (I forgot how low I run those tires) it did pretty well. Power and response is great. It has a little different sound. A+ upgrade for sure.

    To do:
    - Floor
    - Rock lights (for what they're worth, since I already bought them)
    - Shocks
    - Replace front shackles
    - Replace spring bushings
    - Trim down C14
    - Tunes of some kind
    - Add more tie downs
    - Mount ammo cans
    - Seat covers
    - New tarp for roof
    - Resolve fuel intake issue (full tank solves it for now)
    - Connect e-brake?
    - Create oh poop handle
    - Replace bent rear springs
    - Pound out dents and freshen up paint (see: http://tinyurl.com/2u9mex)

    Fixed Itself:
    - Winch. Yeah!
    - Smoking. (I think. We'll have to see. May need new valve seals.)

Things that will keep me off the trail next time:
    - nothing.

Thanks again Flem & Seth, you guys made it possible.

    Prefect. Thanks!

I'm guessing I could go either:

    MP-13 Single Fitting Yes $26
    MP-16 Flowthru-90 No $26

    or

    MP-13 Single Fitting Yes $26
    MP-13 Single Fitting Yes $26
    5/16 Hose 'Y'

I'll take another look at the tank and see what works best.
