    should have cleaned the steel better, I see one dirty spot. also lacking tacks on the bottom side causing it to warp

    what dirty spot Are you talking about that little peice of slag? It was probably there because the bottle ran out about thirty secounds later.

    For the record, I beveled both pieces on both sides, so it was clean.

    Also it was perfecty flat and and true. That is the bottom side and the other side was compleatly welded. One piece pitches in because the tube that was to be weld on is off set. You'll see when the part is done
